Is it normal for the Motec M600 for the lambda CL not to work when the laptop is plugged in?
I have done back to back dyno runs and it definitely doesn’t work when plugged in.

Hi Gareth,
It depends on the area that you are in in the ECU, if you are using any of the fueling related functions, or the main Fuel map, then the closed loop is disabled so that when the Q L or W keys are used, then it is updating the table based on the actual current pulse width set in the table, rather than the closed loop modified value.
Yes, that will catch you out, if you are not aware. Repeat your back to back dyno test while on the ignition table, and you will have different results.
