So I've got my rb26 running using the map for the load input on my fuel table, now I'm setting it up to use tps as the load input due to the individual throttle bodies.

My question is, once I've changed the load input to tps, will the fuel table remain relevant and still run the engine or not?

Thanks Dan

No, you will need to calibrate the fuel table again based off TPS. The numbers don't unfortunately correlate between MAP and TPS. You'll also tend to have a completely different shape to the high rpm/low load areas of the fuel table with a TPS load input vs a MAP load input.

If you haven't already watched it, check out the webinar in the archive that covers how to approach the tuning on an RB26 -https://www.hpacademy.com/previous-webinars/4d-tuning-link-g4-plus/

Hi Andre. I did watch the webinar but wasn't shown is how to setup the 4d tables from scratch. However I think i figured it out

I added some extra fuel at low tps temporary just to get it running.

The only problem I have is, when setting up the Fuel table from stationary and holding revs at various rpm, if one column is set to say 24, and the afr is 13.5, the afr will go extremely Rich say a 9.5afr when it hits the next column, but that might be set to 24 aswell. The only way I can get it to lean is by reducing that cell

But then the problem I have then is I go from one column being 24 to the next being 16 just to get the afr down. And when I hit those cells when actually driving it the afr goes out again anyway

If you're just free revving the engine then you won't learn too much at this stage. You really need to map the fuel table under load to get the table tuned properly so I would do this first. Just confirm that your openloop AFR table is firstly enabled, and secondly that the target AFRs are whatever target you want it to be.

I'm happy to help so keep asking questions if you need help.
