Summary

Tuning an engine running multi-throttle bodies and a turbocharger adds a layer of complexity to tuning the fuel delivery. Unlike a regular engine with a single throttle and plenum, manifold pressure on these multi throttle engines is no longer a reliable measure of engine load. Instead we need to resort to 4D mapping of the fuel delivery against both manifold pressure and throttle position.

This webinar will demonstrate the issues of trying to tune the fuel delivery in a conventional manner with a MAP based fuel table, and then look at how to approach 4D tuning using the Link G4+ platform. While we will be using the Link G4+, the same technique can be applied to a number of different ECUs. For this webinar we will be using a Nissan Skyline R32 GTR as our test vehicle.
