Hello everyone,

My name is Juan and I am originally from Spain. I have travel quite a bit and lived in three different countries, Spain, U.K. and New Zealand. I have been in New Zealand for over three years and I am very happy to be in this beautiful country.

My main interest are motorbikes, mainly Italian, Ducati, MV Augusta, Aprilia and Vespa. I also like Japanese cars, Honda being my beloved car brand.

I am an Automotive engineer, specialised in motorbikes and qualified motorcycle technician. I have been in this industry for over twenty years and worked for many automotive brands, mainly Japanese and Italian. I have also worked as a crew chief engineer for couple of racing teams in the British Superbikes Championship. Our best year, 2014/15 we finished second in the championship and won many rounds. I currently work for Volvo NZ.

I have been tuning engines electronically for around 6 years. I mainly use K-Tag to read and write ECUs, but I also use two different chip programmers to work with immobiliser data. I also print transponders for ignition keys. When it comes to software. I mainly use Winols and ECM tuning.

I am looking forward to dig deeper into this course and meet many of you during the seminars and in the forum.
