I’m have an evox I’m tuning for flex fuel I worked on it for days to the point that afr’s were a solid 11.5 through the rpm range , made decent power on essentially a stock turbo with the inlet and outlet enlarged,

But when you take off from a dead stop the afr’s go lean and the car bogs until about 2k rpm then it springs to life.

I feel like they may be related but also if I do a 2nd or 3rd gear pull on the street it may be fine but sometimes after that the car will go learn and pops almost like it’s hitting anti lag or something. Has anyone seen symptoms like this before ?

Not sure how the Evo Version tuning software from Cobb is ..but how are your LTFT and STFT on the car? And did you update the fuel scalar or the OEM set point because I had a similar issue but on my focus st but because I was a noob I used the fuel scalar in the map switching features to adjust for e85 which was wrong lol it would run and all but my ltft were way up and power was decent but Then started using the oem ser point and ltft sit well under 3and at wot with a max of about 1.5 and car runs stronger than ever. Of course have a lot more to adjust Intercooler size timing etc..
