Hi so I am currently tuning a VF 6.0 litre with an aftermarket supercharger and LSA injectors.
Will be a MAFLESS tune, I applied a 2 bar SD operating system, I entered all the injector data and entered the data for a 3 bar map sensor. And boom started perfectly and idled at lambda 1.0.
I entered a bit of data into the supercharger section from a LSA.
This kit has a MAF delete pipe with the water injection nozzle in the delete pipe, and has the air inlet temp sensor fitted in the intake manifold reading directly what's going into the motor. Everyone that has tuned these that I have spoken to tune these MAFLESS but for some reason when I posted on my Facebook page people were telling me to fit the MAF sensor and tune it with the MAF.
This is making no sense to me as how the kit is designed, and I don't see any problem with tuning it Mafless.
Is there any problem tuning it Mafless like I am currently doing? It started and ran first turn of key and idled at lambda 1.00 after I entered all the correct data in the ecu.
I just don't understand why these people who haven't tuned this kit or had anything to do with this kit are telling me to fit the MAF.
Every Mafless tune I've done I've been able to get every area with in atleast 2% throughout cruise and full throttle so I don't know why these people who haven't ever even tuned or seen this kit are telling me to do it with the MAF.
