LS V8 Project - How Much Power Is Lost From Flywheel To Tyre? | Holden [BUILD]

We have a 6.0L V8 L98/LS2 engine and a plan!

Andre runs us through what is in the pipeline for our new dyno mule and education tool, a VE Holden Commodore, also known as a Pontiac G8 in the US market. Stage one of our plan sees us installing an Xforce Performance Exhaust system, VCM Performance cold air intake, and of course a tune using the ever popular HP Tuners software suite that you can also find in our course material.

Also discussed is the loss of power you can experience from your driveline from what is produced at the flywheel to what is actually hitting the road, or in our case our Mainline Chassis Dyno.

I am a novice tuner at a shop specializing in LS. Cam upgrades are our most common mod. I would love to see content around cam tuning. I find the most difficult aspect to be the idle stability and and recovery areas.
