Hey guys,

i would like to ask, yesterday i was tuning our drift car, it is BMW with M50 engine with turbocharger, i made maps that works fine, i fixed idle, but there is a problem: - When i floor it (in neutral in example) it gets really big amount of fuel and not coming quickly up, after let throttle go and do it only on 80% exam. its going up and turbo spools perfectly and power is amazing, turbo is actually building 0.7 bar of boost, not planning more.

Can this problem be solved in ignition or is it fuel amount problem? It has 283cc injectors and running on e85 map.

Thank you so much for help!

Sincerely Matt.

m50 turbo, 6 cylinders, 283cc injectors? What?

What's your injector DC at full boost?

Also, look for acceleration enrichment in webinars, Andre explained it using different ECU's but the main principle is the same.

Your title is "Ignition in kickdown" but the post talks about fuel, not trying to be annoying, just trying to understand your problem and maybe help you out.

Cheers,

Vlad
