Hey guys,
I have a 2007 sti that i drive year round and i am curious about the usability of a stand alone ecu for cold start in -30 degree celsius. Does any one have experience calibrating these at very cold temperatures? Is it possible to get a cold start good enough to use a remote starter? Also would itbs or larger cams make it get to a point where you would not be able to achieve the desired cold startability?
thanks a bunch
hello if you are using most stand-alone ECU's such as Link etc it is no issue to tune cold start down to -30 larger cams and itb will make it harder
Regards Ross
Thanks,
I read harder but not impossible? I suppose a certain size cam at some point it would be unrealistic to expect excellent cold start?
i have no plans to do larger cam, possibly just itbs.
