Hi Guys , i just joined last night after watching the intro webinar, which was helpful however i wondered if anyone had come across this before.

A customer had fitted 80lb siemens injectors to his turbo ls1, so ive offerred to help, however my main background is aftermarket ecu's.

USing all the data i could find online, im having trouble getting the idle to normal mixture (10.5afr) .

After watching the webinar last night, i played with the scaling, voltage offsets etc, min inj pulse, no matter what i do it doesnt change.

The commanded afr in the scanner is 14.7.

Should i go for a different set of injectors or is there something im missing? VCM in melbourne wherent any help at all....

I have no trouble with handing it over to someone else , however learning whats going on would be great!

Thanks in advance!

Dave

Hi Dave, welcome along!

Unfortunately if you don't have any data at all for the injectors it's very difficult to get a good result and you're going to inevitably end up with some pretty decent compromises in your tune. Particularly if the intake is also different from stock, you're going to be battling a MAF scaling table that's also potentially wrong so you're really going to struggle. Here's a thread on the HP Tuners forum that gives you some insight into what you're facing - https://forum.hptuners.com/showthread.php?29102-Having-problems-with-tune-with-80-pound-siemens-using-Gregs-Dvd&highlight=siemens

I'm just about to head out of the country for a couple of weeks and my forum support is going to become a bit sporadic.

hello friends I have a problem with adapting some 2200 cc injectors lower the data of clinic injector but it still does not work, I really do not know if I have to change something else
