I´m installing EMU Classic ecu on my dad´s escort mk2
Car has sadev seguential gearbox that has flat Shift sensor.
is the sensor just on/off switch or for example vr type?
Ecu has two options. flat Shift and gear cut, whichever would be better for rallycar?
My experience with Sadev sequential gearboxes used in Ligier and Norma sports racers is that it's just a switch.
Sorry I don't have any experience with the EMU Classic, normally 'flat shift' and 'gear cut' are just different words for the same thing, both intended to reduce the torque to allow for an upshift without lifting the throttle. Usually implemented with an ignition cut, sometimes timed, and sometimes closed-loop with a gear position sensor.
