Hello everyone, I just wanted to double check my info. I was thinking if it was possible to take my wideband o2 sensor and split its signal so that I can use the same sensor to work with the ecu and the gauge at the same time. Now based on all the info I have, I dont think its possible because splitting the signal from the wires is going to mess up the reading the ecu is getting as well as the gauge. I just wanted to make sure if my information is correct or wrong.

You can't split the wire of the sensor, but most wideband controller have outputs to connect to an ECU or a logger via analog, CAN to name the most common ones.

What brand/model is your gauge?

I've not seen that done successfully, and ultimately as Frank said, the output of the controller is what most people really want, rather than the raw sensor info.

Thanks guys really appreciate the feedback, so my original chain of thought was correct. I do not have access to wideband controller(sourcing one will take a lot of time). Plan is to buy another o2 sensor. One for the ecu and the one I already have will be for the gauge.
