Attempting to use a generic output on a Holley Dominator to fire a relay for an electric shift solenoid (12v output)

Output seems to work as expected when output is connected to a voltmeter DMM- (output goes high when conditions are met etc) but when we connect the output to the relay and turn the ignition on it will fire the solenoid and leaves it hanging open and some other odd things- any suggestions? It Does this when condition is rpm or tps or just about any selected condition

Draw up a diagram in ms paint and post it, including which terminals on the relay are going to which wire

We actually just figured this out- faulty relay board was feeding 12V while ignition was on- thanks!

We usually reply within 12hrs (often sooner)
