We are currently building a 402ci L98 that when in standard form was running a good 1 bar SD tune using HPT.
We are fitting larger extractors and intake with a mild cam.
My question is how many changes should I be making in re-writing a file for more ci? Obviously we will need to re-calibrate the VE tables, spark advance and idle but would there be any others that I should know about prior to startup or through out the initial tune?
Back up a bit. What vehicle is this? What transmission? What fuel? What are you using the vehicle for? When you say you're "Adding more ci" you mean you're increasing the displacement? How are you increasing the displacement - bore, stroke, both? Compression ratio the same?
