The ideal fuel and ignition values for a specific engine will depend on the way an engine is being used. For example the sort of air fuel ratio and ignition values that are acceptable and safe for road use may not be suitable for a race application. MoTeC’s M1 ECU offers the ability to automatically adjust many of the tuning parameters based on how the engine is being used via the Average Load and Race Time functions.
