Andre explains how he extracted data from the factory ECUs of these jetskis via a MoTeC C125 dash. This was done in order to see how they were running in stock trim before fitting the planned MoTeC M130 and custom turbo setup.
To get all the data we need and also to make sure we’re not left swimming back to shore in Lake Wakatipu’s chilly 10 degree Celsius waters, an AFR sensor also needs to be fitted and Andre runs us through where we decided was the best position to fit this on the test skis.
