With the large change in altitude over the course, Pikes Peak International Hill Climb is a brutal event for engines as less and less power is made as the cars climb due to the lower air density.


One way to help combat this issue is to use a turbocharger to maintain a set manifold pressure and Andre gets stuck right into some of the details that are involved with doing this using both MAF and MAP sensor options.
