Compared to Japan and North America, the European vehicle market is not as well supported when it comes to aftermarket tuning options due to some complications that include their factory ECUs requiring physical modification before tuning can even start, however, with the likes of bFlash and map packs from B&C Consulting at least for commercial operators there are now more options than ever.
As Andre explains, without defined tables for tuners to work with all they have is raw data which without a completely different skill set is useless to most people, professional or otherwise but as the aftermarket catches up this is becoming less and less of an issue with some popular models from European marques like BMW, VW, Mercedes, Audi, Lamborghini, Porsche, Jaguar and more.
