Boost Control: Conclusion
- This brings us to the end of the theory section of our boost control course, and by now, you should have a thorough understanding of how boost control functions, the difference between open loop and closed loop, and how to approach tuning the system.
So far, we've talked in general terms about the strategy and options available to configure and tune boost control.
And while this is an essential part of understanding the system, we still need to see how this is applied in the real world.
We feel the best way to fast track your learning on a particular platform is to see firsthand how the set up and tuning is dealt with, so for the next part of this course, we'll move into our practical worked examples.
These worked examples will be an informal walk through covering the configuration, set up, and calibration of boost control on various product platforms.
Over time, we'll add more worked examples to this course to expand its usefulness and relevance.
If you have purchased the course and your specific brand of ECU isn't covered right now, don't stress.
