Is it possible to totally eliminate the immobiliser function on a 2004 BMW K1200 LT? Reason being the keys got lost. I had a locksmith cut some keys which fit perfectly but it obviously wouldn't start cause it lacks the "chip" which the key ring sensor reads. HP Tuners reflashing can by-pass Chevy's VAT function completely. Can such be done by a reflashing software for BMW's?
While it's almost certainly possible, I couldn't help with how you'd go about that. If you've got a reflashing software package for the ECU then it's possible that it will offer the ability to remove the immobiliser but it will depend if that has been defined or not.
Thanks for your reply Andre. What reflashing package do you suggest for BMW's?
