A customer wants a 2step/launch control with his sr20det silvia.
Im well aware of the sr20det having issues on a hard limiter. Full limiter is set to fuel cut for this reason.
now he wants a few pops and bangs to get the cool sounding 2step. Iv said no as a result of possible engine damage. I said I can do a launch limiter using a fuel cut.
Any other options out there??

As you probably know, anything that's pops and bangs on a SR20DET is a great way to throw off a rocker arm. I would do the launch using the fuel cut like you said.
