Good day all. I was wondering if anyone has used this style of AFR, and second if clamping it on the tailpipe downstream of catalytic converters would give false values?

I have used some of the AEM widebands but not that specific model. These days there are so many options on the market it's a little hard to compare them all. I'd say the majority of name brand suppliers are likely producing a pretty comparable product though. Placing the sensor behind the cat (contrary to popular belief) makes almost no noticeable difference to the AFR reading. What you do need to be mindful of if you're using a tailpipe clamp is that you're likely to get a false lean reading at idle and low load where the sensor can be contaminated by ambient oxygen.

Thank you for the reply. The AFR would only be used for WOT tuning as i'm using the LTFT+STFT math way to tune the closed loop. I know this may not be the best way to tune closed loop but i'm a brand new tuner and i'm trying to learn as much as i can. Once again thank you for the reply.
