I am running a Stage 2+ Big SF 93 v400 map on my 17 WRX. It is no longer supported by my Cobb Accesstuner software. I'm ready to start some more upgrades and I need some kind of baseline to work with. The closest thing I have to work with is the new NexGen Big SF map. It is intended for a Cobb intake, catback exhaust, TMIC (I have a FMIC) plus a 3 port EBCS (will be installing) but an OEM j-pipe. The map says that it will not work with an aftermarket j-pipe. I don't see how that's even possible. I'm sure it WILL work... maybe not great. Maybe not that poorly. I'm just getting started with tuning. I need a little direction on what tables I need to be considering. Thanks.

I wouldnt touch any tables unleas you know what your doing. I would leave it to someone who knows what they are doing or learn by doing some tuning courses.

I agree with the above that you shouldn't mess with any tables without knowing what you're doing. There are plenty of e-tuners in the Subaru world that do exactly what you need every day.

However, if you're going to, I would suggest starting with the 2+ map you already have, as it will be set up for a Cobb J-Pipe already (assuming that's what you have). You're right that new versions of Accesstuner will re-enable some of the DTCs that your current tune has turned off, but that's for any tune through Accesstuner going forward. The new map will get you no more functionality and it will start farther off. But either way you're going to have a CEL.
