This Expression is confusing !

Speed Density!

A way of measuring pressure..... Why are folks talking about "Speed" ...of what exactly?

A manifold pressure sensor measures the manifold pressure. Why is this method of measuring load not named "intake pressure signal" or someting a normal human being can relate to?

Speed... of what? Density of ..?

Speed is Engine Speed -- one axis of the Speed Density Fuel table -- Density (Manifold Pressure) being the other axis.

A similar term "Alpha N", refers to using Throttle Angle (Alpha) and Engine Rev/Min (N) as the axis of the fuel table.

I can think what's much simpler than engine speed and density (pressure with temperature reference).

"Intake manifold pressure referenced" would be the obious name.

Speed Density means nothing logical.

Alpha N is another questionable expression.

Why overcomplicate simple things?
