Questions about the Dynapack control mode Custom Heavy Light setting,

what do you use for Custom and Heavy or Light ? How does each setting effect the power reading?

This setting really has nothing to do with the car weight and in fact it affects the PID control of the hydraulics in the dyno. I typically left the setting on custom or light and only changed it if I had a car that the dyno was struggling to control. You may see control issues on cars with very little inertia such as 4 cylinder engines with very light flywheels. In this case I would just try running the car in each mode and see if one was better than another. There is no affect on the measured power that I've noticed between modes.

I believe that the affect of changing the setting depends on some degree on what version software you're running too.
