Hey Guys,
I have just received my new hub dyno and had it about a week.
Included with the dyno package is a Ecumaster Lambda to CAN unit that has been interfaced to work within the dyno software.
Over the last few days I have noticed a discrepancy in the lambda readings between the dyno lambda and the external wideband gauges I have been using (AEM X series & Daytona Sensors WEGO IV).
I have had the dyno software re-calibrated ( approx. 0.05 lambda) so all gauges now read the same as I load into the dyno (before ramping), however today I noticed the dyno reading still appears to be incorrect and is showing a leaner A/F mixture than the external sensors when the dyno is ramping.
Three consecutive pulls showed 3 different lambda traces with no changes being made to the tune.
My question is, has anybody had any issues with the Ecumaster Lambda to CAN unit with inaccurate readings or delayed responses? Or do you guys think there might be an issue within the dyno software (i.e slow sample rate or low priority on the bus)?
Would love to hear your thoughts.
TIA.
Chris.
I have no idea about your issue, but i think you need a few more digits on that lambda scale on the left.
