So I'm seriously considering picking up this ecu as it's a really great deal. I was just looking through the software they just released for it.

Now one gripe i have with it is the fact that it does not have the capability of being changed to lambda. So should I learn how to tune in AFR or can I use an innovative Air Fuel gauge that can read in lambda and use it to make the fuel adjustments to the ECU as apposed to using AFR that the ECU is displaying? I dont want to have to use a calculator to make changes to every single cell as I'm tuning. that just doesn't make any sense to me. I like the fact that when i'm tuning on an ecu that's in lambda if it's measuring 0.90 and I need my target of say 0.85, all i have to do is hit ctrl * and type in 1.05 and bam, i've added the 5% of fuel. The only way I can figure out how to tune using AFR is to take my measured and divide it by my target and see how much fuel it says to add or take away. Now second important thing is that I'll be using E85 so that will trip me up a little bit as well.

Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thank you,

Damen

Anyone with any advice? I know there’s some experienced tuners on here other than Andre.

The only way to do that is with math channels on a dominator ecu and it's just for logs.

What kind of tuning strategy are you using? Speed Density, VE, Alpha N, combos?
