Quick one ,

motec PLM ,4.9 kit .

I want the usual linear output of 10–20afr 0-5v to send to my ecu .looking at the output tables though its ipn on the left which is uses across all tables so I assume that must stay there.

what am I suppose to do here, leave the left side ion minus 5v to plus 4.75v and just change the output out to be what I want ?

for eg

standard -5v is 9.89afr to plus 4.75v is 295.23 afr

so should I leave all the left column ipn and just change the right column box at 0v = 10.0 and the max 4.750V ipn to be 19.5afr ( since it doesn’t actually have the 5v there to be set as 20afr)

just a bit confused on what’s to be changed here

can someone tell me exactly what goes where on front “analogue output setup” page , then the subsequent “ table 1” and “table 2”

thanks 👍

You should only modify the analog output table. The other tables are the sensor translation for the Bosch LSU 4.9 sensor to Lambda and AFR (Gasoline).

Select what you want to use for the input. I use LA (Lambda Value), and I use a straight forward table so LA=0 is 0V output, and LA=5.0 is 5V output.

That way the voltage is the Lambda Value.

Since you want a specific scaling 10 AFR = 0V, and 20 AFR = 5V, then you just do the math to determine the Lambda values for this:

If your fuel Stoichiometric value is 14.6, then an AFR of 10 would be 10/14.6 = 0.68 Lambda, and a AFR of 20 would be 20/14.6 = 1.37.

So you could make LA of .68 = 0V and LA 1.37 = 5V to get the output you want.

Yeah so on the setup screen if I don’t touch table 1 and 2 then I have an input 0.00 and input 50.00 equals 0.00 and 5.000 volts .

So i change the input side to 10.00= 0.00 and 20.00 = 5.000

is that correct

Yes, that will work for you, since the AFR is available as the table input.
