In order to do the MAF AFR Error at wot you must be in open loop. What about SD wot? Also with HP Tuners, whst is the best way to put in open loop?

Yes you need to be in open loop in order to log an AFR error otherwise the closed loop trims should have the AFR error at zero. Regardless whether you're SD or MAF, you will be open loop at WOT so the process is the same. Setting the ECU to open loop is explained in detail in the worked examples of the Practical Reflash Tuning course - You need to adjust the ECT min/max, ECT vs Startup ECT and O2 Readiness ECT tables in the Open & Closed loop tab to make sure that the ECU never goes into closed loop mode.
