Thinking about using power shifting next drag practice,

was wondering if i can use the Main Igntion map and retard a lot timing on 7000 RPM range so this way it will kind of stop RPM from boucing on rev limiter fuel cut instead using timing retard to hold the RPM in smoothly? My shifting is kind of slow to not bounce on the limiter during power shift so was thinking if this is a possisble solution?

I don't like the COBB ways fuel cut method either on flat foot so hoping this might be a better solution ,

if its possible how much timing to do need to reduce at 7000 RPM in order for it to hold and not overshoot?

We usually reply within 12hrs (often sooner)
