Question relating to an Automatic car when changing from 2nd gear to top. Builds boost ok, changes into top gear but doesn't build rpm. Not at redline when changing into top. Is it a converter issue? Only relatively low boost(5psi) or so. Engine is a Holden 304 V8.

I assume the lambda channel is wideband input?

Given ignition timing looks reasonable and lambda is stable it doesn't look like spark blow-out misfire or ignition timing limiting.

Could you be getting clutch drag in the gearbox?

Can you confirm there are no limiters flagged active in a log?

Nothing stands out in the log. I just think it's a classic example of too large a turbo, stock cam, stock converter, wrong diff ratio. I'll do something with the converter and see how it goes. Cam and diff ratio change will also happen in the future. I will check the box when I do the converter.
