Hi, I am tuning my stock RX8 with a few changes, like raising the OMP 7% to avoid engine seizure (no emissions laws, not in California), lowered the warm up rev limiter to 3500 to avoid high RPM when warming up, raise the warm up threshold to 135 deg Fahrenheit, lowered the fan controls to 185 degrees Fahrenheit to run cooler. I now want to setup my throttle to be more responsive, but I have NO IDEA how to do this. I have 4 Throttle Duty Cycle maps (A thru D,) a Max Duty Cycle set to 84, a Throttle Fuel Gear 1-3 map and a Throttle Fuel Gear 4-6 map. Attached pictures below.

In mazdaEdit, I have the same "Throttle Duty Cycle" A thru D tables except that I don't have the "Max Duty Cycle" which is set to 84, an additional table "Relative Throttle Plate Position" and the Throttle Gear tables are a 1:14.7 relation, for a 1 in AccessPORT in mazdaEdit it's 14.7. Attached pictures below.

Hi Edgar, I haven't done anything with the RX8 but I'm happy to help out. Can you post up some screen shots of the various tables please? To achieve the effect you're looking for you're either looking for a throttle translation table with APP on one axis or alternatively a driver demand table.

Here are Throttle Duty Cycle A thru D and Throttle Fuel Gear 1-3 and Gear 4-6

These are mazdaEdit. Same Duty Cycle A thru D, but Throttle Fuel Gear tables are called Throttle Fuel Enrich Gear and a 1:14.7 relation, but same values and it has an additional table, Relative Throttle Plate Position.
