I am having some troubles, hoping to learn a few things. First to the build:

Nissan D21, SR20DE swapped

Stock bottom end

BC stage 2 cams

Precision TNX C15 T3/T4B 5257

Precision 39mm waste gate

1000CC injectors

Precision 39mm waste gate

Turbosmart RFL blow off valve with the low vacuum spring

Fueltech 450 ECM.

I was on a MegaSquirt when stock engine with the added turbo and injectors. Made power and was very driveable. Replaced the complete exhaust to a top mount, bigger turbo and all pipes. Swapped the cams, head gasket and added ARP head studs. Once it was all back together, I lost all power. Engine timing at 20 degrees with about 20 inches of vacuum. Factory specifications say that is good, even with a bigger camshaft added. Tried to get retuned and made less than 60 horsepower at 17 PSI of boost. AFR showed around 12 and then I would get something like a backfire out the exhaust during a pull.

Swapped over to FuelTech, working on my wiring and changed over from distributor to coil on plug, with a 24-2 optical wheel. With all my settings for cranking set, I am only showing 100 RPM and does not seem to even try to fire over.

Recently moved to Florida and I am having issues working in the heat and sun so it may take some time to get back to it.

Thank you all for your time.

Have you tried doing the initial tests such as compression test, intake leak test, combustion chamber leak test, fuel pressure test, fuel injectors test, spark plugs and ignition timing tests?

In order to figure out route cause you will need some information to start from...

I have not done any of the cylinder tests or injector tests. I know I have 60 PSI of fuel, reading from my pressure regulator gauge. While on distributor I was not getting spark anymore so that is why I moved to coil on plug. I have not checked for spark with this setup yet.

You'll need to establish the main path- wether it's fuel issue (clogged fuel injectors for instance), spark issue, ignition timing issues or mechanical issue and go from there...

We usually reply within 12hrs (often sooner)
