How many of you guys run high wastegate duty cycles at lower loads in an attempt to get the turbo to spool as quickly as possible to your target boost?
I've done it. As long as it opens soon enough that you don't get a big boost spike you're good. However it doesn't matter much in areas where the throttle is mostly closed.
In my own experience this is a worthwhile idea however it's not going to offer the massive change in boost threshold that many believe it will.
