Hello everyone!

I would like to know which external wideband controler are you running? In my friend's rally car, we are currently using an AEM inline wideband with an LSU 4.9 sensor, and last year we had to replace the sensor 2 times as they were not reading properly. Sensor is located about 1m down the exhaust, and we aren't using anti-lag at the moment. We are running 94oct pump gas.

Is there any better options out there? We are using a Link G4+ Extreme so it doesn't have an onboard controler.

Thank you!

Frank

I've had great results using 14point7 products for a number of years now.

Are you still using a LSU 4.9 or ADV?

Is the mounting position prone to pick up moisture?

Hey Dom,

No it is not, that was my first thought as well.

I'm still using 4.2 and 4.9. I haven't come up with any good reason to get an ADV... yet.

I'd run the Link CAN Lambda unit since you're using a Link ECU. It will offer better accuracy than any analog unit can since the data is delivered digitally, without potential for offset.

Hey Mike,

That's a great idea! I like that I'll be able to disable the sensor when there's no RPM.

Thanks for the suggestion!

You're welcome! Have a great day.
