Hello,

I've got the following situation. RX7 FD. ECU in the interior. OEM Map connector is used for fuel pressure, so I will connect the map signal to the internal map sensor of the ecu. The hose to the ecu will be about 1.5 to 2 meters long. Will this cause problems in transient conditions due to a delay, or any other problems or can I ignore it?

regards

Bastian

In my opinion the only thing that could possibly be a concern area is if your tip-in fuel is based on rate of change of MAP sensor reading (instead of TPS).

Thanks for your reply. Tip in is vs TPS so it should be fine.

Pressure changes occur at the local speed of sound, so I would imagine that a 1.5-2 meter long hose won’t be a problem at all.

We usually reply within 12hrs (often sooner)
