Hi,
I've got a K24A3 with a warped head, I'm yet to get the hardness tested but if it fails that the cylinder head is in the bin. I've been trying to source a new cylinder head and having absolutely no luck. Does anyone have any information on where to find one in Australia? I'd be happy with any similar head from either the k24 or k20 as long as it has Vtec on both camshafts.
Where are you, a simple "Honda k24a3 engine for sale Australia" came up with plenty of long engines - I understand it's just the head you need, but you may need to purchase the whole thing.
Be sure to check the Honda dealer. Sometimes parts like these are amazingly affordable.
Forgot, I understand the K20 head is preferred for performance because it's a better flowing head - might be worth checking on this if you're going to be leaning on the engine?
