Discussion and questions related to the course PDM Installation & Configuration
Hi,
Im tuning my race jetski SEADOO RXP. It has race harness, injector 1000cc, fuel regulator 5bars, mechanical throttle body and IGNOPOWER ECU, big compressor.
The jetski stays accelerated when the engine is warm. It seems the problem come from the fuel map. (too rich or too lean after WOT and gaz released). I have checked the throttle body and the inlet manifold (no leaks, ...)
Can you tell me what you think of the fuel map ? For me it seems very rich when I release the throttle.
Regards
Hi Sebastien,
Sounds like an interesting project.
I take it that's injector pulse width timing? if so it does look quite rich, possibly something the tuner has done to try and keep the valvetrain/turbine cool.
If the throttle is open t idle or there is an idle air control/bypass valve then the engine will make torque. Its worth checking the overrun ignition timing value too as this can increase engine speed.
