Hello all, I'm in a space constraint issue and found a 90 deg MAP/IAT sensor from Cummins. (4 pin)

I wanted to see if anyone has used or mapped out the IAT or MAP sensors yet. (trying to use a MS3pro)

I'd really like to avoid the GM IAT because I'd lose a bunch of space without refabricating my aribox. (it'd stick out the back)

Worst case, I can try find an angled bung for the GM IAT. (i want to mount on the back face of the airbox)

Thanks

Looks just like the Bosch T-Map sensor. You might test to see if the calibration matches, you can see the datasheet on this page:

oh awesome!!

had i known this was available i would have gotten this one from the start.

cummins wouldn't provide me any data specs on the thing when i asked, so annoying.

even has the associated connectors on that website!!

Just to be sure, for a naturally aspirated application, the 1 Bar version sufficient, right?

1 Bar = 14.5 psi (around atmoshpere), so everything should be vacuum from there right?

Yes, that is correct. It is a 1 bar absolute pressure sensor. it's range is from 10 kPa to 115 kPa (1.4 to 16.67 psi Absolute)

We usually reply within 12hrs (often sooner)
