LML Base Calibration

Completely new to tuning, and just starting on my first vehicle an ‘11 LML. I’m hoping I’m mistaken, but from what I’ve learned the E86 ECM cannot be read with a pass through device. If this is the case, by what avenue can I actually get my base file?
