Hello Tuners!
I am pretty new to the tuning scene. I am a huge fan of cars who burbles and pops and bangs after going off the gas paddle.
Can someone explain me exactly how a burble tune is made and what exactly it does to the engine.
Thank you guys,
Timo D.
What you're going to be able to achieve will depend to a degree on your engine's mechanical specification. For example you'll get a better result with an engine that is fitted with a large exhaust system and a cam that provides a lot of overlap. The key to start with however is to make sure that the over run fuel cut function is disabled. If this isn't disabled you'll end up with no fuel being injected on overrun and hence no combustion at ball. Beyond this you can also retard the timing which will help.
