I have a full stock 07 JDM Subaru Legacy 2.0gt and my 4 ignition tables are not equal. How do i know which one to start from? Do i take the most conservative? I notice the cruise maps are almost equal and the non-cruise also but all 4 are different.

Hi Tom, I'd suggest logging the ignition values that the ECU is providing. This data along with RPM and load will be sufficient to understand where in the ignition tables you're operating and should then be sufficient to know which table is active. You do need to also understand the knock control strategy as the IAM/DAM will be adding timing from the advance tables to the base table value in order to come up with the final value.
