E38 ECU on my GMC Denali 2008 6.2 engine using HP Tuners
The issue is that while tunning and calibrating the MAF and MAP sensors I relized that each sensor shows different reading based on different tempretures
So the question does the ECU rely on IAT to decrease or increase the following:
MAP sensor calibration
MAF sensor calibration
Fuel injections
VE table
So how does this exactly work and how do enable and disable this when tunning and how to calculate it if needed and how to manipulte it for tunning in constant states
The sensor calibration is not changing, the pressure and mass of air flow are changing with temperature. The ECU can use the MAF directly, uses the air temp to calculate the mass of air when using Manifold Pressure.
Kindly I don't think ur getting what I trying to say
What I meant was how can I view/edit my Fuel IAT trim which is responsible for adding or removing fuel based on Intake Air Temp (IAT), on top of whatever my base fuel model is doing (VE,MAF, MAP).
I submitted a screenshot of a table used on MaxxECU just for refrence.
