Honda Should Have Built This | TCR Inspired GA2 City - Featured Image

Honda City/Fit Type R. How good would that have been back in the 90's!

The HPA staff beater hit the Coronet Hill Climb a few weeks back, and ignoring all the Toyota parts on it (sorry mum, they made sense at the time!), is this a model that Honda should have built?

For a bit of context, this was a $300 Honda City/Fit that was purchased with a blown D-series 4-cylinder motor for a bit of grass khana fun. The project has escalated into some sort of budget Honda TCR/Type a hybrid from there and is worked on by the staff here, not all of which come from automotive backgrounds making it a great learning tool for some of the crew.
