[TECH TOUR] 800HP & <1000kg GT-R powered Ford Focus | Twin Turbo Hill Climb Car

With a reliable 800 HP being produced from a mid-mounted twin Honeywell Garrett GT30 Nissan VR38 turbo engine, this one-of-a-kind 4WD specialist hill climb car is one well-equipped monster. Built by PACE Innovations Pty Ltd for racing entrepreneur Tony Quinn, the car sports an impressive MoTeC electronics package that includes their M1 ECU with GPRP firmware, PDM15 and C15 dash as well as a Holinger Engineering MFT 6 speed transaxle to help put the power to the ground.

E85 is fed from the 25L fuel tank to the 1600cc Xspurt Injectors and Turbosmart external wastegates help keep accurate boost pressures. Nitrous has now been fitted to help compensate for the performance sapping altitude of Pikes Peak International Hill Climb (Official Site).
