'This is the way.' | AN JIC Line Quick Release - Featured Image

AN lines are awesome, that is a fact, however space is limited in just about any engine bay and sometimes it can be difficult to get your AN spanner onto the nut at the best of times, let alone when you're in the pits during a busy race weekend.

For those that need them, Dyme, aka Dyme PSI, have a proven solution with their PRO/SPEC quick release fittings for PTFE and rubber hoses which removes the need for your nut and spanner, allowing you to disconnect simply by hand.

Hate bleeding clutches or cleaning up oil when working on your dry sump system too? Dry break fittings, aka dry break couplings, are nothing new, but they also offer a way to save you time and effort.

Do you think these quick release fittings provide the specifications/qualities to be adapted to serve as an A/C refrigerant (R-134a only) fitting? I deal with aftermarket A/C compressors custom installed A/C systems often. Space is an issue because of the directional (Angle degrees or overall length) placement of the fittings and the diameter of the line because there usually multiple systems involved (so double HVAC components) mounted on an diesel engine. TransAir, Valeo, and Sanden are examples aftermarket HVAC systems I commonly see. Burgaflex and Aeroquip (Danfoss) are the primary hoses used to secure A/C lines.
