Why CORNER WEIGHTING Is Worth It | Ep 5 [OFF THE RECORD]

“Is this thing even recording?” - Vlog master Andre Simon

In this week’s episode of off the record, we check in with our sister company @Racecraft HQ which, in reality, really just means that Andre puts on a different t-shirt. We cover why corner weighting and wheel alignment are important, including a brief overview of how to measure camber, caster and toe. You also get to see that unlike the expensive camera-based alignment machines that specialists use, you can make a setup for a fraction of the price with parts you’ve probably got lying around the workshop.

With our corner weighting and wheel alignment changes dialled in, we head to the track at Highlands Motorsport Park to see how the settings work out and have a bit of a discussion of the things you'll want to look out for. We also have a bit of a behind the scenes look at how our video crew captures our content. Andre then attempts to roast Scott and Luke on their videography skills...joke’s on him though ‘cause they’re better than his vlogging skills as it turns out.
