Hi
Does anyone have experience setting up communication between Haltech IC-7 Digital Dash and Emtron ECU?
Haltech IC-7 Digital Dash does not seem to support customization, and among the existing options, there is no Emtron.
If anyone has experience, I would appreciate an example.

I don't have anything to help on this, but I am also interested in the answer to this as I am contemplating a move to Emtron with a Haltech dash.
I don’t have much concrete info. But I do have a little bit of IC7 experience.
How are you connecting the IC7? I know from using my personal IC7 that it’s capable of using inputs directly into itself, or you can set it up to derive everything from the CAN bus on the ECM, or any combination of CAN and direct inputs.
If you’re trying to go straight through CAN, you might want to reach out to Haltech directly and see what they say. They have excellent customer service, and they’ve probably run across this combo before. It’s possible that the Emtron uses the same CAN protocol as another ECM that is directly listed in the NSP software. So, it may be as simple as configuring the IC7 to listen for CAN protocol from an AEM for example, or a LinkECU. It’s also possible that it uses the same protocol that Haltech uses on their ECUs.
