GT3 brake deflectors - cheap and easy cooling!

Many are likely aware, but there is a great low-cost option for circuit oriented folks, or those who need more brake cooling. I used a 'brake duct' (really more of a deflector) from the 997 GT3, and it attached to my old air-cooled with minimal effort. Needed some trimming and some beefy zip ties, but it hasnt flown off at 100+, so it seems well seated.

I know of a time attack FRS and Miata that both employed these, so depending on the control arm design you have, they may work!

When I got these, I think it was $12 each. Unfortunately looks like they've gone up to ~$40 :(

A fully ducted brake cooling system is probably appropriate for a purpose built racer, but for cars that live dual lives, this was an easy win for me.

Air guides that attach to the lower control arm are awesome and can work really well. Motorsport style ducting can be a huge pain for packaging.
