Hello, I have a MK60e1 ABS module I want to install into my R33 GTST (none ABS) trackcar. Would there be any disadvantage of installing an ABS module in the rear of the car to keep it away from the turbo heat.

I have a 2nd link PDM at the back with 2 spare high powered outputs I would like the use. All brake lines will be replaced and I'll will be building a club spec wiring harness using tefzel 3 core twisted cable so the extra work there is fine.

I'm not sure if the extra distance from the master to the ABS module and back to the front will affect performance.

Thanks

Hi Ray, sorry for the slow reply. In short, I don't think this would this would cause any issues. As long as it's all plumbed and connected correctly.

The size of brake lines is so small and the fluid is of course incompressible, the extra length has neglible effect

We usually reply within 12hrs (often sooner)
